SWOT analyses can be applied to an entire company or organization, or individual projects within a single department. Most commonly, SWOT analyses are used at the organizational level to determine how closely a business is aligned with its growth trajectories and success benchmarks, but they can also be used to ascertain how well a particular project \u2013 such as\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.wordstream.com\/blog\/ws\/2017\/07\/05\/online-advertising-costs\">an online advertising campaign<\/a>\u00a0\u2013 is performing according to initial projections.<\/p>\n<p>SWOT Analysis \u2013 Internal and External Factors<\/p>\n<p>A SWOT analysis is divided into two main categories: internal factors and external factors<\/p>\n<h4>Internal:<\/h4>\n<p><strong>Internal factors\u00a0<\/strong>are the\u00a0<strong>strengths<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>weaknesses<\/strong>\u00a0of the company.
